P&O Cruises Arcadia 2013/14 Refit

P&O Cruises Arcadia due in for refit in December 2013.

In December 2013, just in time for her 2014 world cruise, Arcadia is due to spend around 20 nights in dry dock - but they changes are sure to be worth the wait. She will come out of refit with 10 new single cabins, to be added to deck 2, replacing some of the area currently taken up with part of her Monte Carlo Casino and her Electra nightclub.

Replacing Electra, The Globe will become her late night dancing venue and so will be smartly enclosed with a new glass wall design to reduce the degree to which sounds travels from the venue, as well as to improve the sound quality, creating the perfect environment for the variety of entertainment found on it stage. Plans are also afoot to freshen many of her cabins, ensuring that they remain comfortable, stylish retreats.

Fans of Marco Pierre White's Ocean Grill can look forward to a new look and feel in this special restaurant with a new reception, carpet and improved seating, while we hope to be sharing some exciting news with you very soon about The Orchid restaurant very soon.

Those of you who enjoy some well-earned retail therapy on board will be interested to learn the Arcadia's many shops will be refitted to enhance your shopping experience, while he Crow's Nest bar will be refreshed with some newly refurbished seating and the creation of an intimate space, making this sociable room even more suited to pre or post dinner drinks with groups of friends, as well quieter drinks as a couple.
